Masanori Tamura studied at the Universities of Tokyo and Kyoto, then spent years at Rohto Pharmaceuticals, where he pioneered hyaluronic acid in skincare and created Hada Labo. The Science
Three patented ingredients do most of the work:
TSC - a lipid-like molecule that supports the skin barrier and calms visible redness and irritation. It's the heart of the Lipid Serum and Recovery Masks.

Inspired by the Japanese ritual of cleansing with oil, this silky blend melts away makeup, sunscreen and the day, then transforms with a splash of water and rinses completely clean. Natural hinoki wood oil leaves a fresh, woody calm, with rice bran oil and botanical seed oils to keep skin soft. Clean, comfortable, never stripped.
